Bird Series Earrings

I created these earrings to celebrate some of my favorite birds I so avidly watch out my window here in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Each is handwoven in an original abstract design inspired by the particular bird’s patterns, colors and characteristics.

The earrings are brick stitched into a diamond shape with glass Miyuki delica seed beads and measure around 1½ inches in drop length and ¾ inches wide, and have hypoallergenic (nickel and lead free) alloy ear hooks.
